Introduction: I am super excited to be able to get back to the mountains this winter and dust off my snowboard! I love to board/hike/anything outside. I also will be living in my converted van which will enable me to travel between resorts/jobs and also means Im available for babysitting in evenings too! I have spent the past couple of years living in North Devon, UK working as a barista in a seaside cafe. I absolutely love my job there and am looking forward to going back next summer for my 3rd season! I love to surf (attempt to surf!), paddle board, spend days at the beach/ cliff jumping & coastal walks. When the weathers not quite on my side I thoroughly enjoy getting out my arts and crafts, whether its playing with different painting techniques or working with clay. I hope to be able to help make your snowy holiday experience that much more relaxed by taking care of your little ones! (I can bring arts and crafts with me when nannying too!) Hope to hear from you soon. Alice x

Experience: I first starting nannying for a local family at home. I worked as a full time nanny to their 9 year old girl and 6 year old boy, taking them to & from school, making sure they are ready for the day in the morning. Also entertaining them during some evening i.e weekend nights, cooking, bathing etc. Since then I have done 2 winter seasons with Alpine Child Care and also Au Paired in Paris which I loved. Whilst living in Paris i had sole responsibility of a 3yo girl and 18month old boy. I worked as a full time nanny during winter 2012/2013 for Alpine Child Care, covering Les Arcs/Paradiski. Doing things like collecting children from ski schools, entertaining them for the day whilst the parents go and enjoy there skiing, sledging, building snowmen etc. Also making the children dinner/lunch and obviously most importantly making sure they are happy and entertained at all times in a safe and responsible way. Whilst at school I completed my Trident Gold Award which involved 40 hours of community based work, 2 weeks work experience and a personal challenge. For my community work I helped run the local Rainbow / Brownie Group for 5 year olds. I organised activities and helped keep the girls entertained during the weekly session. This included being organised and preparing these sessions ahead of time. I also had to be professional and responsible at all times to ensure that the girls and parents were satisfied with the child care arrangements. I am more than comfortable looking after young babies and enjoy the fun side of looking after children a bit older too! The most children I've had at one time is 4. |

Reference: "Alice has worked for me as a nanny for my two children aged 6 and 10 since June 2012. Alice is reponsible for helping the children to get washed and dressed and make their breakfast and walk them to school. She picks up the children from school and provides a drink and snack when they get home. Both of my children love Alice because she fully interacts with them by ways of playing games with my youngest to painting my daughters nails etc. She has good understanding of age appropriate role play. When babysitting Alice oversees the children getting ready for bed and puts them to bed. I am Very happy with Alice she is always punctual, polite and is more than capable of all the duties she carries out for me and my children and i would not hesitate to highly recommend her to any family. Reference: "We had a great week and Alice was fantastic with Ethan (21 months old). Big smile on his face each day when she turned up, always on time and always willing to do what we asked. To be fair Ethan had a cold for most of the week and turns into a little nightmare when he's poorly but she just rolled here sleeves up and got stuck in. I've attached a picture of the happy couple, which you are free to use on her profile. Regards Matt La Plagne, January 2013"

Reference: "Alice looked after the three youngest children in our party aged 4, 5 and 7 yrs. She picked them up from ski school at 12.30pm, gave them a sandwich for lunch and looked after them until 5.30pm. They had a great time with her...she took them sledging, out for hot chocolates and played games with them in the chalet. She was always punctual, happy and willing and the children really liked her. We will be in touch next year. Clare Van Moppes"

Reference: "Alice was wonderful from the moment we booked her. We were so lucky to have such a great, kind, fun Nanny! My youngest boy can be very needy and sometimes struggles being away from us, but Alice was wonderful with him and he was so happy to be left with her everyday! Alice would go above and beyond and we couldn't thank her enough! I highly recommend Alice. Joanna Qualtrough Alpe D'Huez January 2023"
