Introduction: I am a 27-year-old qualified teacher who has decided to take a break and live in the Alps for a season. I have always enjoyed working with children and therefore decided to become a teacher. I am a keen sports person- as a child I competed in Cross Country running, I have been playing netball in my local league for the past 4 years and have been competing in Crossfit for the past two years- I enjoy being active. Therefore a Ski Season is the perfect match. I want to work as a nanny to allow children to have a great ski holiday, give them great memories as well as allow their parents to enjoy a break.
Qualifications: PGCE Schools Direct Primary Education BSc Hons Communication with Counselling Safeguarding and Child Protection Training Makaton Sign Language
Experience: I have worked with a varying age of children from 4-18 inclusive. I also have family members who I have nursed, fed, helped with night feeds etc when they were born- they are now 2 and older. Inclusive of my time working with children and young adults I have worked in Special Educational Needs for almost 13 years and therefore now know Makaton Sign Language. During my teaching degree, I became solely responsible for pupils' attainment and of course, their safety was paramount. I worked in Year 1 (5-6 year olds), Year 4 (8-9 Year olds) and Year 5-6 (9-11 Year olds). Lastly, I have been giving respite to a child for 2 years prior to moving to France for the season- I would take him to parks, trampoline parks, swimming as well as a variety of other activities. |

Reference: "I would be delighted to recommend Caitlin to anyone looking for a nanny. She’s a lovely, cheery girl and was immediately at ease with my four and one year old. She was always on time and was also full of helpful local information for us. She even spent time practicing writing skills and phonics with my older one while the baby slept! You can see that she genuinely loves kids by the way she interacts with them and they respond to that. Fiona Griffiths Les Arcs February 2019"

Reference: "Caitlin was an absolute godsend for our son Leo (aged 6); he had broken his leg at New Year and rather than have a boring time not skiing in La Rosiere, he had a fantastic time not skiing with Caitlin. They enjoyed lego-making, bum-boarding, igloo creating, snowballs, music, chats, walks and lots of hot chocolate and cream. Caitlin sent us pictures at the end of every day so we could see what Leo had been up to in the morning and he very much looked forward to her coming everyday. Caitlin was very professional yet also very warm, smiley, caring and friendly too – we had every confidence in her ability and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her as a nanny to future parents. We wish her every success in her season in the Alps. Joanna and Craig Stevens, Hertfordshire La Rosiere February 2019 "

Reference: "From the minute we met Caitlin, she fitted straight in, she is super confident, natural, and assertive in any given situation. She immediately understood our and the children's needs and pro-actively went about her day organising fun things for them to do; sledging, walks, games, sang songs as well as practical elements like making the children lunch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to other families; she can be relied upon and will fit into any given situation with ease. Our children are already missing her!" Amanda Hallam.
